Converse Sneakers the Doors TuneCorner
I subscribe to something called the Lefsetz Letter - it is an email/blog by Bob Lefsetz. Wikipedia describes Bob as:Based in Santa Monica,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], California,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Lefsetz worked previously as an entertainment businessattorney,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], majordomo of Sanctuary Music American division and as a consultant to major record labels. The Doors song "The End" was used in a Converse sneaker commercial. Bob thought it wasn right. The manager for The Doors,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Jeff Jampol, read Bob posting and wrote a response which I found fascinating,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], educational,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], interesting and relevant.
Please note: Bob tends to swear a lot in his postings, so if you are offended by profanity,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], best not to read it. Else the Lefsetz Letter is definitely worth subscribing to. I leave your thoughts on the whole Doors/Converse matter to you,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but do come back and post your comments here.
Jeff Jampol really needs to check out and study Rappele,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and his theories about whether the marketing message is what he calls On-Code or Off-Code (There was a PBS thing on his theories as well).
The point is that when you go Off-Code, you can create unnecessary negative emotional reactions,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], that can resonate in ways that cost you significant agony and $$$. Which is not definitely not the desired effect.
The other thing is that this reaction is really telling you something very important about your brand and how it functions. So it would be very valuable for you to decrypt it meaning,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], so that the marketing enhances the long term value rather than depleting it,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], as appears to be happening.

The Straddle by George Howard When TuneCore first began, we called George: few people understand the music business as deeply. George Howard is a professor of management at Loyola University,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], New Orleans. He is the former president of Rykodisc,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and founder of Slow River Records. He is the senior editor for Artists House Music, and a board member and advisor for a number of companies including Wolfgang's Vault and Daytrotter. He has written two books on the music business for Berklee Media.

Outsourcing Music Production--What Do You Think? By Nicole Albertson [TuneCore friend Nicole Albertson is gathering data for an article and needs your help. Your responses will shape the industry. Be part of it! --Peter] As a die hard music fan and an eclectic listener, I have always been envious of those who could express themselves through music. I've taken a stab at playing a few different instruments,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but reluctantly realized that no amount of lessons could cure my lack of talent. So instead of causing agonizing.相关的主题文章:
