'Private Benjamin' actress Eileen Brennan dead at 80
BURBANK, Calif., July 30 () -- Eileen Brennan, who starred in "Private Benjamin" and "The Last Picture Show," has died of cancer at her Burbank, Calif., home, her publicist said. She was 80.The Emmy Award-winning and Oscar-nominated actress died Sunday of bladder cancer, The Hollywood Reporter said Tuesday.Brennan was perhaps best known for her Oscar-nominated performance as Army Capt.
