Northrop gets $25m deal for LCS mission modules

Each module package is comprised of a specific set of sub-systems such as data processing equipment, sensors, and others. "With this procurement, we will work with our customer to capture synergies across the mission module production base, enhance production and supplier base stability, and reduce cost to the Navy."Northrop Grumman has so far delivered two surface-warfare mission modules and one mine counter-measures mission module to the Navy for littoral combat ships. Two other mine counter-measures modules and a surface warfare module are currently in production.
